AURA USA · Updated September 8, 2026
Privacy
This describes the current AURA USA edition: what you publish, what your account stores and the choices available. Advertising trackers and third-party advertising analytics are not connected.
Data and visibility
| Area | What and why | Who can see it |
|---|---|---|
| Account & profile | Sign-in identifier, name, email and contact details you supply, for access and managing publications. | Account owner and authorized administrators. |
| Listings & businesses | Text, photos, attributes, location and contacts you choose to publish. | Public after publication, including to search engines. |
| Messages | Inquiry text, name and email are shared with the advertiser with your consent. | Conversation participants; administrators handling inquiries. |
| Saved items & searches | Saved cards, search filters, chosen region and interests. | In your account; used for your recommendations. |
| Reviews & reports | Rating, text, reviewed or reported entity and moderation outcome. | Approved reviews are public. Reports are available to the reporter and moderators. |
Do not publish SSNs, passports, banking details or an exact home address unless needed for the offer. Removing an AURA card does not remove other people’s screenshots or search-engine copies.
You control personalization
Recommendations use your selected region, interests and saved items. Browsing history is off by default and requires a separate opt-in. Turning it off deletes saved history. Medical and legal categories are excluded from history collection.
Open settings and history →Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track (DNT) stop history collection and internal events. This edition does not sell data or share it with advertising networks.
Advertising tracking is not used. History settings are in your account.
External services
Sign-in uses email and password or Google. Passwords are stored only as hashes, and Google shares only a verified email and name with AURA. The site and data run on AURA infrastructure.
A Google Maps search shares the selected region, ZIP and query with Google. Google content loads after a search; photos and external websites may send normal network data to their providers, under their own policies.

Retention, corrections and requests
History older than 90 days is cleared when the account service is used. Other records remain for account operation, publications and inquiry handling; this edition does not set an automatic deletion period for them. Profile details, listings, saved items and saved searches can be managed in the relevant account sections.
Rights to access, correct, delete, transfer data, opt out of certain processing and appeal depend on applicable law and circumstances. This page does not restrict those rights.
Preview edition: before commercial launch, AURA’s operator must publish its legal identity and a working privacy request channel, and finalize retention and request verification procedures. Full account deletion and complete data export are not presented as available features yet.
